Building Monitoring/HVAC/Energy Usage

EasyLog temperature data loggers (EL-USB-1, EL-USB-1-PRO, EL-USB-TC, EL-USB-TC-LCD, EL-USB-LITE) and temperature & humidity data loggers (EL-USB-2, EL-USB-2-LCD, EL-USB-RT) are used to build up a picture of the environmental conditions throughout a building or complex. This can help ensure correct operation of heating or air-conditioning equipment, or that a warehouse is providing the correct storage environment for your stock.

The low cost, and compact design of the EasyLog range make them an excellent choice for this application, where a number of data loggers may be needed across a site.

Refrigeration and Freezer (including Food & Medical Storage and Transportation)

With both food and medicine, it is increasingly important for manufacturers, suppliers and end users to have verifiable evidence that correct environmental conditions have been provided from the moment of manufacture to the time that the goods are used. A number of EasyLog temperature data loggers (EL-USB-1, EL-USB-1-PRO) and temperature & humidity data loggers (EL-USB-2, EL-USB-2-LCD) are ideal for use in these applications. The devices typically record temperatures to-35°C (EL-USB-1-PRO measures to -40ºC) and the interchangeable sensors used ensure that costly recalibration year after year is avoided.

Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Studies

Whilst you can't control the weather, you can keep a check on what it's doing. Both the EL-USB-1 & EL-USB-1-PRO temperature data loggers, and the EL-USB-2 & EL-USB-2-LCD temperature & humidity data loggers, are designed to IP-67/NEMA 4X environmental protection standards ensuring they are well suited to outdoor applications whether they are left exposed to the elements or, as in some cases, buried in the soil to monitor growing conditions.

Server Room Monitoring

The various servers, hard-disks and routers located in the server room form the heart of a modern company - when the network is down, your business is down. The EasyLog EL-USB-RT is designed to provide you with an early warning should temperatures in your server room start to rise too high. Linked to the network via USB (EL-USB-RT) the devices can send email alerts when temperatures exceed a preset temperature limit.

Industrial Processes

The EasyLog range offers a number of instruments suitable for recording data from industrial processes. The EL-USB-TC and EL-USB-TC-LCD accept a K, J, or T-type thermocouple for measurement of extreme temperatures (-200 to +1350°C) such as those found in cryogenics and industrial ovens.

For ambient temperature measurement in industrial environments the EL-USB-1-PRO's stainless steel 316 assembly offers a good degree of protection from corrosive chemicals, immersion in water or oil based liquids and shock.

Many industrial sensors output either an analogue voltage or a 4-20mA loop signal to provide information on a particular process. The EL-USB-3, EL-2 and EL-2-12BIT will record an analogue voltage whilst the EL-USB-4 and EL-2-12BIT can monitor a 4-20mA loop.
